Passionate followers of the actress are urging that a individual who jumped a barrier and grabbed the performer during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared video depicts the individual from Australia shoving aside photographers and lunging at Grande while the performers made its way down a yellow carpet accompanied by supporters.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "free after being taken in", though legal records showed that he was scheduled to be present on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

Pattern of Disruptions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has invaded a performance. His Instagram feed includes videos of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney performance in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last December.

"There needs to be action taken against him as this is clearly a legal violation," stated an Instagram user, in a reply to a video Mr Wen posted of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Voice Worry Over Ariana's Well-being

Numerous fans blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had revealed suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the end of her 2017 concert in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" wrote a further response on Instagram.

Several fans also questioned event staff at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while others demanded online networks to block Mr Wen's content.

Response and Premiere Information

In videos circulating online, Grande appeared startled when she was touched by the man. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted comforting her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.

Grande has remained silent on the event, and the remaining proceedings proceeded as normal.
