New information has come to light about the untimely demises of acclaimed filmmaker Rob Reiner and photographer Michele Singer Reiner, whose bodies were discovered at their residence property on Sunday.

As detailed in an account citing a person close to the family, a practitioner arriving for an appointment initially became concerned after being unable to gain access the residence. The practitioner then got in touch with the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who lives close by.

Upon entering the residence, Romy came upon her father's body. It is said she then left the home distraught, unaware at that moment that her mother's body was there as well. Her roommate who had accompanied her then dialed 911. Following this, paramedics discovered Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Legal Proceedings

Law enforcement have formally accused the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with the charges of premeditated murder, as well as the use of a dangerous weapon, said to be a knife. He is currently being held without bail.

Nick Reiner was arrested at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Sunday in the neighbourhood of Exposition Park, roughly 15 miles from the residence. He was set to be arraigned on Tuesday, but his legal counsel, Alan Jackson, said his client had not been medically cleared and would be unable to attend until Wednesday at the earliest.
