The City of Angels witnessed citywide festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a thrilling seven-match World Series championship. Fans across the globe joined Angelenos in celebration, marking the initial time in 25 years that a team has achieved consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Enormous Turnout
Local celebrations featured a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Social media videos show countless of Angelenos flooding city center avenues, many displaying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the masses, raising the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
“I’m already thinking about the third time we’re going to achieve this,” the star player remarked through an interpreter.
The parade route concluded at the stadium, where the players emerged to the rapper’s “Not Like Us,” with DJ Mustard spinning music and the artist driving a Pacific blue classic car around the field.

Celebrations started prior to the procession, with Dodgers fans lighting fireworks in the streets of Downtown Los Angeles on the previous evening.
