The Lionesses take on the Chinese team – Women’s Exhibition International

Greetings and welcome to the exhibition match between England and the Chinese squad at the iconic Wembley. This promises to be an exciting contest with the current Euro titleholders competing against the holders of the Asian Cup title.

The iconic Wembley is sold-out for the occasion, which will see Fran Kirby recognized pre-match after her departure from the England squad before the Euro tournament this past summer.

The team news will be revealed soon, but there was a recent squad update for England. On Friday, Khiara Keating withdrew from the squad with a small issue, and so former number one Ellie Roebuck has been added to the squad.

With Hannah Hampton out of action, it will be notable to find out who head coach Sarina Wiegman selects in goal. That news and all the other updates are incoming before kick-off at 5:30 in the evening GMT.
